Nutritional Ecology Classification of Sheep

  • According to Sheep 101, sheep are continuous feeders that graze on grass, hay and other low-quality foodstuffs.
  • They are herbivores, which means that they enjoy a diet of all plant materials (Sheep 101). 
  • In the picture below sheep are seen grazing in a pasture proving that they are both continuous feeders and herbivores.
